1. The Citizen Corner is a common space: it belongs to all of us and comes with a shared responsibility.

1. The Citizen Corner does not tolerate racism, sexism and disrespectful or violent verbal and nonverbal behaviour.

1. We actively generate a culture of gratefulness, sharing and caring, together. When you ask for what you need, others will dare to ask as well. When you give generously, others will give generously too. Sharing is caring. All efforts and all the time contributed to cocreate this common is deeply appreciated and valued.

1. The Citizen Corner is a place for fearless citizens that dare to experiment and fail, a brave space for trial and error. The feedback, reflection and process are more important than the end result. We value conversations and constructive feedback to grow together as individuals within a community.

1. We avoid blaming and shaming but listen to voices as an opportunity to grow
2. We mitigate power and actively generate a non-hierarchical, shared structure.

1. Since we welcome many different initiatives, all projects need to be dynamic and mobile. Every object brought into the building has to be able to move easily. That goes for humans as well. We take the temporary occupation as an opportunity to experiment with dynamic flows, building up and letting go.

1. Everyone is encouraged to take initiatives and take the lead to realise a project. Don’t ask for ‘permission’ before you start, but seek advice of at least three people in the community.

Process:

1. Have a cool idea
2. Check for practical issues such as dates and availability of the space.
3. Listen carefully to the people impacted by your idea. What are their concerns, what is their advice. What voices can improve your idea? Add this wisdom to your idea.
4. Ask for help to execute the idea
5. Execute enthusiastically
6. Debrief, share what you have learned.

1. Everything we do at the Citizen Corner is open and transparent. We try to document what we can, and we build with an open source mindset. With what we contribute to the citizen corner we want to contribute to whomever is dreaming of similar projects and would like to copy/improve our initiatives.

1. The Citizen Corner is a place to build great memories together. We will have fun, we will spend time together and we will fully experience what it means when citizens can just be citizens: they create, they act, they contribute and connect.

Sharing is caring. Alle inspanningen en alle tijd die bijgedragen wordt om dit gemeenschappelijke tot stand te brengen, wordt zeer gewaardeerd en gewaardeerd.

Dat geldt ook voor mensen. We nemen de tijdelijke bezetting als een kans om te experimenteren met dynamische stromen, opbouwen en loslaten.

1. Iedereen wordt aangemoedigd om initiatieven te nemen en het voortouw te nemen om een project te realiseren. Vraag niet om 'toestemming' voor je begint, maar vraag advies aan minstens drie mensen in de gemeenschap.

Proces:

1. Kom met een cool idee
2. Controleer op praktische zaken zoals data en beschikbaarheid van de ruimte.
3. Luister goed naar de mensen op wie je idee impact zal hebben. Wat zijn hun zorgen, wat is hun advies. Welke stemmen kunnen je idee verbeteren? Voeg deze wijsheid toe aan je idee.
4. Vraag om hulp om het idee uit te voeren
5. Voer enthousiast uit
6. Debrief, deel wat je geleerd hebt.

1. Alles wat we doen bij in de Citizen Corner is open en transparant. We proberen te documenteren wat we kunnen, en we bouwen met een open source mentaliteit. Met wat we bijdragen aan de citizen corner willen we bijdragen aan wie er ook maar droomt van soortgelijke projecten en onze initiatieven zou willen kopiëren/verbeteren.
